Just a reminder that tomorrow is our GIFT EXCHANGE! We will be completing it during Period 5 & 6 tomorrow…if you haven’t brought in your $5 wrapped gift, you can still bring it in tomorrow!!

Miss Argue

This Holiday season our class and other classes from WEJ paired up with Home Instead Senior Care in order to brighten the life of a senior living in our community. Students created and sent a HOLIDAY CARD with a warm message to a senior. Last year, Mr. Jackson’s class and Miss Argue’s class made just over 90 cards for Seniors.

THIS YEAR……..(drum roll please….) we sent 262 HOLIDAY CARDS TO SENIORS in our community!!!

A big thank you to the following classes who participated: Ms. Jo-Anne’s SK class, Ms. Cleiman & Ms. Martinak’s Grade 1 class, Ms. Duncan’s Grade 2 class, Ms. McIntyre’s Grade 2 class, Mr. Jackson’s Grade 3 class, Mr. Small’s Grade 3 class, Ms. Shank’s Grade 4/5 class, Mme. Gunn and Ms. Wilson’s Grade 4/5 MFI class and  Mr. Bradley’s Grade 5/6 class.

Thanks to all of the students (and parents 🙂 ) who went through their winter gear or brought in new winter items for our WEJ Mitten Tree! Miss Argue’s class collected 49 items!! WELL DONE!! Here are some pics of the students dressed up in the winter gear that they donated:
