National Bank of Argue – Class Point System

NATIONAL BANK of ARGUE

The National Bank of Argue is the name of the point system that we use in our class. Each student starts out the year with their own bank account. Students are assigned a classroom job that they earn money for completing each week. Students can also earn money for good behaviour, being kind to others, working well in class, completing work on time, getting completed work signed by their parents and bringing back signed forms by a given date. Students can lose money if they they do not demonstrate appropriate behaviours in class.

CLASS AUCTION

Students get to spend the money in their bank accounts three times a year when we have our Class Auction! Ms. Argue purchases different prizes and students get to use the money in their bank accounts to “bid” on items that they would like to purchase. During this live auction, students keep track of what other students are bidding and how much money they have to spend all while trying to outbid each other in order to purchase their prize!

A special thanks goes out to Ms. Argue’s Dad…the BANKER in her life!
